Mainstream artist seem oblivious to the unjust killings and human rites violation’s taking place in the hood. Are things really better? Do we know longer need groups like Public Enemy Screaming FIGHT THE POWER? We are still being held in illegal chokeholds, illegally searched and gunned down by police. Kess feels that the powers that be purposely extinguished the revolutionary message from Hip-Hop in order to numb the minds of future generation to the injustice surrounding them.
