Accounts
1. How do I register for an account?
On the home page, you should see two register buttons on the right side... "Artist Accounts" and "Member Accounts". After clicking on the account type you wish to register to, there will be a "Register Now" button on the right side, click that button to begin your account registration process.

NOTE!: Be sure to add admin@localbandz.com to your address book, so your account validation email does not end up in your spam box.

2. How do I subscribe to one of the subscription accounts?
First, make sure you are logged into your Free account. Then in the upper right "Profile" drop down menu, there is a "Subscription" link, that will take you to the subscription choice page.

3. Why can't I upload music to my account?
Member accounts do not have the ability to upload audio and video files, only photos. If you would like to upload your music or videos, you'll need to register for an artist account.

Digital Sales
1. How do I use the Vault system?
You can use the Vault system in your CP to sell MP3's, Videos, PDF files, Zip and many other kinds of digital files. Simply upload your files with a description and a price and they will appear under your merchandise tab on your profile page for sale. You will be notified by PM each time an item is purchased.

2. When do I get paid for my digital sales?
Each time your sales account reaches $50USD this amount is transferred to your Paypal account.

3. Why do I need a Gold Account to get 100% profit for my digital sales?
Since we transfer your money via PayPal, and they charge a fee for transfers, we have to cover our transfer costs with PayPal. Basically, the more you spend on your subscription account, the more you get back on your digital sales.

4. What's the difference between the Store and the Vault system?
The store allows you to sell physical items such as CD's, T-Shirts and other merchandise. Of which you are entirely responsible for payment and shipment, we don't take a cut or percentage for these types of sales. It also allows you to charge for postage and packaging. The Vault system is for sales of digital files like MP3's and offers the buyer instant download after a successful transaction.

General
1. Why haven't we received any reviews yet?
This may be because your current subscription does not allow reviewing or commenting, to activate this feature, upgrade to a subscription account that includes this feature. For more information, see one of the subscription pages, Artists or Members.

2. What about copyright and ownership?
As a rule of thumb, as long as you own the copyright for the material you wish to use, or have permission from the copyright owner, you can upload or embed your material for public performance or downloading. 3. What type of audio, video and image files can I upload to my profile?
We currently support the following!

Audio Types: mp3, wma, m4a, ogg, mid, flac, wav
Video Types: wmv, mov, mpg, mpeg, avi, m4v, 3gp, 3g2, flv, f4v
Image Types: png, gif, jpg, jpeg, jpe

Image sizes are restricted to 350 pixels high by 350 pixels wide.

All audio and video uploaded will be converted into either a MP3 file or FLV file so they will play through our flash players.

4. How do I report inappropriate content?
You may use the contact link to report inappropriate material. When reporting please ensure that you provide us with as much detail as possible quoting the name of the video, image or blog etc... and including the originators name.

5. What is a Playlist?
A Playlist is simply an internet radio station "radiocast" and is similar to a PodCast, you can include any artists songs in your Playlist which have been made available to share by each artist. Each member has a Playlist (Stations) available in their CP, the Playlist is embedded and viewable on every members home page flash player.

6. How do I embed video and images from other sites?
You can embed video and images into your blog entries by pasting the code anywhere in your blog text. We also supply a YouTube module to allow you to embed YouTube videos on your profile page.

Profile
1. How do I change the color of the profile menu?
Log into your account, go to the control panel and click the Profile button and then the Profile Info icon. You can also click the Profile Info link in the Profile drop down menu at the top right of the screen when your not in the control panel. Once on your Profile Info page, scroll down to the Menu Color selector and choose the color you would like to use for your profile menus.

2. How do I customize/change the colors on my profile page?
First you must be registered or subscribed to an account that allows profile customizations.

Then you may either click the "Profile" link in the Profile drop down menu at the top right of the screen when your not in your control panel, or click the Profile button in your control panel and then click the Customize Your Profile icon.

Safety
1. What is the minimum age for membership?
The minimum age for membership is 13.

2. Safety Tip
Do not share information online that you would not share offline. Do not meet someone offline that you met online.

Subscriptions
1. What is the pricing for subscriptions?
Subscription pricing is based on the total amount payable each month, 6 months or 1 year, for instance the 1 year pricing reflects the most discount for users wishing to pay their subscription annually. 2. How do I pay for my subscription?
Simply click the subscription you wish to purchase and complete the PayPal transaction, your subscription will be renewed automatically and an email will be sent to notify you 7 days before your next subscription is due.

Note: You must have a Free Account before you can upgrade to a Subscription account!

3. How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription at any time during your subscription term, however, refunds for open subscriptions are not available. For more information on cancelling your subscription please visit your Paypal account.
